The Atrium

Sitting in the Atrium can teach you a lot about the people you see walking past. You will see all types pass by even if you sit there for five minutes. It amazes me that even on a campus that is not considerably large like Ball State's you can have such a great diversity and assortment of people. This also comforts me to know that with the large variety present, they are able to at least coexist in a humane manner. I sat there for nearly an hour and saw barely a glimpse of animosity in the room. The place seemed like a huge orb of happiness contained in a small space. Among the usual din of clattering trays and food being cooked, there was almost a constant stream of laughter being tossed into the air from all corners of the room.
